Yesterday was our big Rock 'n' Accordion special as the final part of Co-op Radio's spring fund drive. The broadcast was a bit sketchy with the computer crashing, but we got through it, and a polished and solid version should be up on the podcast this week for a Rock'n Historian Accordion-lovin' good time.
We're keeping real media in the hands of real people, only stations like Co-op Radio can provide space for shows like Accordion Noir. You can really help! Please go to www.AccordionNoir.org and click the subtle "Donate" link on top to drop a few dimes. We have prizes of CD's and button/badges/pins to offer. We love you all.
peace bruce and rowan

Musically, our backup here is the Amsterdam Klezmer Band – thus the title – doing "Sadagora Hot Dub (Shantel Remix)" which is awesome, from their 2006 "Remixed" album: http://www.amsterdamklezmerband.nl/english/index.html . The cackle at the start comes from Beau Jocque & The Zydeco Hi-Rollers' track "She Wants To Sell My Monkey," which is also awesome.
Catch our show every Friday, and support Co-op Radio, keeping Accordion Noir on the air. Corporations don't play "Lady of Spain," people do, but only if we support community radio so we can! (I've got it on the way...)
