Harriet's Heartfelt Plea for a girl accordion teacher in Vancouver.
Special bonus episode of Accordion Noir. (One minute long.)
Bruce's daughter Harriet shares her heartfelt dream of finding an accordion teacher in Vancouver. Awwww. (This was totally her idea.)
Seriously, if there are any women/girls in the city of Vancouver who'd offer the most basic (you can do it!) instruction once a week or so, that would make one eight-year-old very happy. ("The best way to learn is to teach others!") We welcome teachers in our home-school house, or we could bring her to yours, but we'd love to have it near the Eastside so we don't have to drive. We're at Main and Powell, near the radio station.
Harriet likes Rock 'n' Roll, The Beatles (please, please Her!), the B-52's, the Donnas, the Who, the Cramps, and a spooky waltz by "Music for Zombies" that's driving us all crazy. She hopes to share her skills at Girls Rock Camp in August. http://girlsrockcampvancouver.ca/
Any instructor gets an Accordion Noir T-Shirt, a stack of "One Less Guitar" stickers, some Acc Noir buttons, and paid.
Please give us an email at: accordion.noir@gmail.com or call Bruce at 604-782-7245
The picture this "episode" is the fabulous Pigini Simba! Harriet's actually learning piano accordion, but who could resist? http://www.pigini.com/
(The Motion Trio started on these too: http://www.motion-trio.art.pl )
Thanks so much for your support of the Accordion Future!
