Accordion Noir Radio

Yesterday was our big Rock 'n' Accordion special as the final part of Co-op Radio's spring fund drive. The broadcast was a bit sketchy with the computer crashing, but we got through it, and a polished and solid version should be up on the podcast this week for a Rock'n Historian Accordion-lovin' good time.

Geoff Berner, Ami Denio, Natasha Lena the Accordion Girl, and the Creaking Planks!

Thursday, Oct 2nd – 7 pm - Spartacus Books Festival opening - 684 E. Hastings at Heatley
Live music, a fashion show catwalk (or something), and a rare Film screening of the Rockumentary about the international super-group Accordion Tribe!
Fundraiser for our radio-station and our show!

It's fundraiser time again! And in fear that people are sick of accordions, we're disguising a special episode of our show under the happy rubric of the ukulele to sneak some support we might not otherwise earn. Whoo-hoo! Should be great fun.

We are apparently one of the best online fund-raisers for our station, setting up those monthly donations really add up! That's so cool. We're proud to be able to help keep our little station that can alive.
